KEELER'S KIDS
Bring Valley Humane Society straight to your classroom! Keeler's Kids is a one-hour humane education lesson for second and third-graders emphasizing the value of companion animals and the level of commitment required to own a pet. Children learn about pet adoption and discuss the implications of caring for an animal throughout its life. Each child is assigned a plush pet, complete with profile, which they can choose to "adopt" at the end of the lesson.

CRITTER CAMP
Join us in August for Critter Camp, a week-long day camp for kids age nine to twelve. Compassion toward animals and conscientious pet guardianship are the curriculum at this fun summer camp! Combining hands-on experience caring for a shelter cat with behind-the-scenes visits to veterinary offices, working ranches, and other local animal venues, Critter Camp teaches children about the responsibility and rewards that accompany pet ownership.

Pet Sponsorship Program
 Do you wish you could help a homeless pet by giving it a good home, but right now adopting a new pet is just not possible? Or are you looking for the perfect gift for a friend or loved one who loves animals? We have a program that will work for you!
As you know, our animals stay with us until they are adopted. This means that sometimes our friends are with us for quite awhile. You can become a friend to these pets through your sponsorship of them. The cost for Pet Sponsorship is:
$15 per month; $25 per month; $50 per month or $100 per month for 3 months, 6 months or 12 months.
You will receive a Sponsorship Certificate and a photo of your selected animal. If you're sponsoring a pet as a gift for someone, we can send the Certificate directly to that person if you'd like. If your selected pet gets adopted during your sponsorship period--and we hope that happens!--then we'll let you know and you'll get to sponsor another pet.
To begin your sponsorship, just fill out the Donation page Click Here and type in the name of the pet you wish to sponsor as an "Honorarium." Then make your donation through PayPal.

We hope you become a special friend to one of our residents and help us keep them happy and healthy until they find their forever homes!
